As part of the EU-Driving Hours we are regulated and monitored by the DVSA to ensure we stay within the law, and maintain driver safety. Below is our policy regarding infringements (driving outside of the stated EU Driving regulations)
Our internal disciplinary procedure is outlined below. If suitable, a documented discussion will take place first, followed by the below:
Verbal Warning = 3 months on file
1st Written Warning = 6 months on file
2nd Written Warning = 9 months on file
Final Written Warning = 12 months on file
Dismissal
Repeated offending for the same infringement will follow the above, i.e if you have a 1st Written Warning on file, then commit the same infringement within 6 months without a valid reason, you will move you onto a 2nd Written Warning.
The DVSA may issue the following fines to drivers depending on the severity of the Infringement
Level 1 = £50
Level 2 = £100
Level 3 = £200
Level 4 = £300
