At the START of your shift, AND whenever you change vehicles during a shift, you now need to clock in via the drivers app (Zoho customer portal).
IMPORTANT: This should be done AFTER you have collected your vehicle keys, and put your tachograph card in the unit.
When you open the clock in form on the app it will automatically show your name along with the current time, minus 5 minutes to allow time to get the keys and put your card in.
You will find the latest time we expect you to clock in on the app, in your job details under ‘Clock In Time’. This time should allow enough time to do your checks, and get to the pickup address in time for collection (with a little time to spare). If you think not enough time has been allowed, just get in touch with the office and we will take a look at it.
The first thing to fill in is the registration of the vehicle you are in. If the vehicle you select doesn’t match what is on the system it will alert you, this will hopefully cut down on the number of times the wrong vehicle is taken.
If you wasn’t the last driver in the vehicle, you will be asked to rate the cleanliness out of 10, and mark the fuel level. We appreciate honest feedback, it’s anonymous and it’s the best way we can monitor standards. There is also a comments section to explain why you have left a particular score if you feel the need to.
If you have any kids seats to take you will be reminded to take them, and if you have any inbound airport pickups, you will be reminded to take bottles of water.
Once the form is complete, press submit.
It is vitally important that every driver completes this process at the beginning of every shift. It doesn’t need to be done again before or after subsequent jobs, as long as you are in the same vehicle. As this replaces the cleaning checklist, it won’t add any time to your day and should cut down on mistakes by checking you are in the correct bus and giving you reminders where applicable.
To ensure that this happens, you will receive a text message reminding you complete it at the start of your shift, if you haven’t already completed it by the clock in time.
